How do you keep the water producing steam for 10 the minutes if you poured it into a bowl?

  2. Stefanie says:

I keep a towel pulled over my head & the bowl to keep in all the steam. It works!

Hi there, just wandering. Do you have to use lavender or is there anouther oil you can use? Or can I skip the oil all together? Cheers

It would be better if you used lavender oil. Lavender oil is great for clogged pores. It is a natural muscle relaxer, soothing agent, conditioner, and astringent. So not only, when you are doing the steam, does it smell great, but you are also absorbing all of active nutrients that come out of the oils, and penetrate your skin and pores.

Could I use basil essential oil if I don't have fresh basil?

  9. Pinlavie says:

The recipe mentions fresh or dry basil. I think basil essential oil will work for you.
